At Richie's Wish we believe it is important that foster families have opportunities to participate in typical family activities and outings. We believe such outings create chances for bonding and for making wonderful memories together.
Half of our board members are or have been foster parents. As foster parents we know how hard it can be to plan a family outing when you have a dynamic family with changing numbers of children. We also know how expensive a day out can be when you have a big family - and many foster families are a little larger then the average family.
In order to create opportunities for fun outings we reach out to local family entertainment venues and ask for donations of tickets that we then make available to foster families. In 2019 we were able to offer tickets to Dorney Park, Dutch Wonderland, The Reading Phillies and Road Side America
